I Need a Holiday

With everything going on in life and the world right now, I felt the need for a holiday escape.  Thus, I took a little break from writing Firebend #3 to indulge my inner holiday enthusiast.  This was actually inspired by the direction in which Geared-up for Adventure is heading.  It was something that I couldn’t get out of my head fast enough.

Yuletide is a time of great celebration in the kingdom of Camelot, with much feasting and drinking provided by the generosity of the young King Arthur.  Amidst the seasonal revelry, though, court sorcerer Merlin is plagued by the horrors of a vision that threatens to destroy their world, their destiny, and their lives.  Arthur wants to protect his kingdom and all those who dwell within it.  Merlin wants to protect his king from a gruesome fate.  Their love is iron-clad, forged in honor and magic.  But the gods have a way of changing the future.  And this Yule, they’ll alter the path of Camelot’s eternal legacy.

It’s free but exclusive to my mailing list.  If you’re interested, you can sign up here.  If you’d like to read some holiday goodness from me without the subscription, I have three stories from last year on my website’s free reads page.

I wish everyone a very happy holiday season, and Happy Thanksgiving to my American compatriots.
